At Youth College, our teaching team is dedicated to creating a caring, supportive and encouraging learning environment for students to grow and develop. Our interactive and dynamic teaching approach fosters fresh thinking and experiential learning which help students identify their learning goals and build a solid foundation for future development.

Dr Lau Hing-keung, George has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director, and assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. He concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Engineering Discipline.
Dr Lau has extensive experience in the development of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) programmes at different QF levels. Prior to joining the VTC, he was the Head of Science, School of Science and Technology of the Open University of Hong Kong. Dr Lau is actively involved in community services and has served on different positions in several professional organisations.
Dr Lau holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic), a Master of Philosophy Degree in Electronic Engineering (Hong Kong Polytechnic); and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (The University of Hong Kong).

Mr Kwok Lung-kei, Jerry has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director, and assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. He concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Design Discipline and Information Technology Discipline.
Mr Kwok possesses seasoned Information Technology knowledge and has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry with expertise in technology management, systems development strategy, enterprise infrastructure design and information security management. Prior to his current position, he had served as the Deputy Head of Information Technology Services Division, formulating security policies and formal procedures according to International Security standards and certification of ISO27001.
Mr Kwok holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (The Chinese University of Hong Kong).

Ir Dr Li Kam Hing, Keith assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes and concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Health and Life Sciences Discipline.
Ir Dr. Li has extensive experience in VPET education and served different units in VTC over 25 years, including Institute of Vocational Education, Headquarters and Youth College. He takes charge of the management of Pro-Act Centres, and oversees the implementation of VTC’s initiatives, Earn and Learn Scheme and Workplace Learning & Assessment in the Youth College.
Ir Dr. Li holds three Master’s Degrees (in Engineering, Information Technology and Education) and a Doctorate Degree in Engineering (University of Warwick).

Dr Leung Yau Cheung, Frankie assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes and concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Business Discipline.
Dr Leung possesses seasoned Engineering knowledge and has over 20 years’ experience in the engineering industry with expertise in power and installation, control and automation.
Dr Leung holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University).
