At Youth College, our teaching team is dedicated to creating a caring, supportive and encouraging learning environment for students to grow and develop. Mr Kwok Lung-kei, Jerry has been appointed as Assistant Executive Director, and assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. He concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Design Discipline and Information Technology Discipline.
Mr Kwok possesses seasoned Information Technology knowledge and has over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry with expertise in technology management, systems development strategy, enterprise infrastructure design and information security management. Prior to his current position, he had served as the Deputy Head of Information Technology Services Division, formulating security policies and formal procedures according to International Security standards and certification of ISO27001.
Mr Kwok holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (The Chinese University of Hong Kong).
Ir Tang Wai Yin, Paco assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, and collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. He concurrently acts as the Deputy Academic Director of the Engineering Discipline.
Ir Tang is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Building Services discipline and has served in various operational units of VTC over 25 years, including the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, Engineering Discipline Planning Office, and Headquarters (Industrial Partnership).
Ir Tang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Energy Engineering from the London South Bank University, a Master of Science Degree in Building Services Engineering from the University of Hong Kong; and a Master of Arts Degree in English for the Profession from The Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.
Dr Cheung Chor-wang, Alice assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, and collaborate with other operational units of the VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. She concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Health and Life Sciences Discipline.
Dr Cheung is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in curriculum development and quality enhancement of vocational and professional education and training (VPET) programmes, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) and teachers’ professionalism. She has served in various operational units in the VTC for over 25 years. She takes charge of the management of Pro-Act Centres and oversees the implementation of VTC’s initiatives, including Earn and Learn Scheme, Project-based Learning, and Workplace Learning and Assessment, in the Youth College. Dr Cheung actively participates in community services and is dedicated to motivating and coaching the youth for their personal growth and professional development.
Dr Cheung holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (University of Kent, U.K.), a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (City University of Hong Kong), and a Doctor of Education (The University of Hong Kong). She is also a certified trainer in The Success Principles.
Dr Ma Hiu Ying, Katherine assumes the role of Principal (Youth College) to take charge of campus operations, steer the strategic developments of the College, collaborate with other operational units of VTC to offer Diploma of Vocational Education programmes. She concurrently acts as Deputy Academic Director of the Business Discipline.
Dr Ma possesses extensive multidisciplinary industrial experience, specifically in IT and Business domains and has served in various operational units of VTC over 20 years, including Institute of Vocational Education, Headquarters and Youth College.
Dr Ma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), a Master Degree in Management Information System (The Georgia College and State University); and a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Business Administration (The University of South Australia).
