The first batch of the third cohort of the "The Strive & Rise Program " organized by the "Asian New Generation Creative Design Association" was held at Youth College (Kwai Chung) on 29 March 2025. It was honored to have Mr. Chan Kwok-ki, Eric, the Chief Secretary for Administration of The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as the guest of honour to deliver a speech. Mr. Dorian Ho, famous fashion designer, shared his experience and insights in the industry. One of his mentees, Chen Yat-nga, shared her journey of studying at Youth College and her participation in a fashion design competition.
A total of 120 participants visited professional equipment in the fashion and textile industry to learn about the development of the industry, and explored different aspects of fashion design through the professional workshops such as tie-dye fabrics, jewelry making, three-dimensional tailoring and image design.
Mr. Chan Kwok-ki, Eric also presented a certificate of appreciation to VTC, which was accepted by Mr. Tai Chark-tong, Tony, the Chairman of VTC.
