The Language Centre offered a VR learning experience on Open Day, which allowed visitors to interact with virtual characters on ImmerseMe, an interactive language learning platform, with VR headsets. Participants were tasked to carry out conversations in authentic scenarios such as ordering food and drinks in English or Mandarin to practise their pronunciation and fluency.
