During adverseweather conditions, the class arrangements of the Youth College Vocational Development Programme Office (hereinafter referred to as "VDPO"):
There are generally two sessions every school day, the morning session (9:30am-1:30pm) and the afternoon session (1:30pm-5:30pm).
When typhoons affect Hong Kong, the following arrangements will apply:

(4) Issued when classes or examinations are in session | All classes / examinations will be suspended# |

When a Rainstorm signal is issued, the following arrangements will apply:

BLACK (Subject to the time announced by the Hong Kong Observatory)

(2) Lowering to RED rainstorm signal or below at 11:01 am or before | Afternoon session (classes / examinations) resumes as scheduled* |
(3) Issued or in force at 11:01 am or thereafter | Afternoon session (classes / examinations) will be cancelled |
(4) Issued when classes or examinations are in session | All classes / examinations will continue (If the black rainstorm warning signal is still in force at the end of the classes or examinations, students are allowed to go home under safe conditions.) |
Remarks:
* students and parents should consider the weather and traffic conditions in their areas and their own safety situation at the time, and decide if they should return to school for classes or examinations.
# All outdoor activities shall be immediately suspended.
## Schedule termination of class time according to class time and weather conditions
If classes or examinations are cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, VDPO will arrange make-up classes or postpone the examinations.
If students do not follow according to the above arrangement and are absent from classes, VDPO does not guarantee there will be another make-up class arrangement.
VDPO will announce the arrangements for make-up classes and examinations as soon as possible.
Students should follow the above-mentioned regarding the arrangements under typhoons or rainstorms.
VDPO will not make separate announcements on radio and TV stations. The announcements by the Education Bureau do not apply to VDPO.
