Part-time Evening Programmes (Certificate of Vocational Education)

Youth College (YC) also offers the Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE) programmes which aim to provide students with training on professional knowledge and skills to meet the needs of various trades and industries.  Most CVE qualifications are recognised by relevant government departments as meeting the academic requirements for license registration.

With the development of new academic structure, and to provide progression pathway for further studies to encourage life-long learning, the CVE programmes have been incorporated into the curriculum structure of the DVE programmes.  After obtaining a CVE award, students can progress to join a relevant DVE programme.  Holders of DVE are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements).
