This programme aims at helping students to develop, through a balanced curriculum with generic and vocational knowledge and skills, and structured whole person development competencies in a specific trade so as to enhance their opportunities for employment and / or further studies. The Fashion programme covers mainly fundamental knowledge and skills required in the area of fashion textile design and merchandising, including topics from yarn to fabric and fashion design, quality assurance and so on. Graduates may choose to seek employment or further their studies.
Graduates may be employed as assistant fashion and textile designer trainees, assistant merchandiser trainees, fabric coordinator trainees, weaving / knitting technician trainees, testing laboratory technician trainees, dyeing technician trainees, and quality inspector trainees etc.
