This Programme aims to prepare graduates with industry specific knowledge and skills in the engineering service industry. With student-centred approach, this 1-year programme equips students with comprehensive mechanical engineering knowledge and hands-on skills at various operational level and equips students with appropriate competence in language and communication, numeracy, information technology and presentation skills to support continued professional development and further study. Graduates may choose to further their studies in different disciplines or seek employment in the engineering service sectors. Graduates may be employed as technician apprentices or engineering assistants in engineering. They could work in mechanical engineering skills-related jobs and provide technical support to engineering trade and infrastructures.
