The Vocational Training Council (VTC) held a flag raising ceremony today (30 September) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. VTC Chairman Mr Tony TAI, Deputy Chairmen Dr Daniel YIP and Mr Paul CHONG, Executive Director Mr Donald TONG, Council Members, along with the management, staff, and students, gathered to express sincere wishes to our mother country.
The flag raising ceremony strengthens the sense of belonging to the country, national identity, and patriotic sentiment of staff and students. The VTC will continue to uphold its unwavering commitment to promoting the development of vocational and professional education and training, deepen cooperation with the Mainland to facilitate the exchange and integration of educational resources and tie in with national development strategy, with a view to cultivating professionals for the prosperity of both the nation and Hong Kong.
