As a prestigious youth fashion design event that has attracted significant attention from the international fashion industry, the Final of the 34th "Dalian Cup” International Youth Fashion Design Competition was held in Dalian, bringing together young designers from around the world. The competition serves as an important platform for emerging design talents to showcase their creativity, exchange ideas and broaden their international perspectives. This year, the competition introduced an innovative dual-track format comprising the "Global Track" and "Dalian Track", further promoting international cultural exchange in design and fostering collaboration and integration between local and global fashion creativity.
LI Ka-chun from Diploma of Vocational Education (Fashion) Programme delivered an outstanding performance in the 34th “Dalian Cup” International Youth Fashion Design Competition against more than 600 young designers from around the world. With his entry titled “SHADOWS OF THE PEARL,” Ka-chun achieved an impressive 12th place, demonstrating remarkable creativity, design excellence and a strong passion for fashion design.
The final showcased shortlisted collections that reflected contemporary young designers’ deep insights into fashion and culture through diverse cultural perspectives and innovative design.
