Lions Club of Central (Hong Kong) and the Guangdong Lions Club fully sponsored a learning journey for students from Diploma of Vocational Education (Business) and (Business Events and Marketing) programmes as well as students from the Tin Shui Wai district to participate in the Greater Bay Area Learning and Exchange Tour.
The 3-day exchange tour provided valuable opportunities for students to visit Mainland enterprises, explore cultural landmarks and network with Lions members from both Hong Kong and Guangdong. Through first-hand exposure to advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and drone technologies in Guangzhou and Foshan, along with a deeper understanding of local history and culture, students were able to effectively integrate classroom learning with real-world experiences while broadening their perspectives.
In recognition of students’ learning achievements, the “Outstanding Reflection Reports Prize Presentation Ceremony” was held on 5 May 2026 at the Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. First-year students from Diploma of Vocational Education (Business) in Tin Shui Wai demonstrated outstanding performance and won the Champion, First Runner-up and Second Runner-up awards. The three award-winning students shared their reflections and insights on stage and were invited to join the gala dinner. The event was filled with joy and enthusiasm, marking the success of this fruitful cross-border learning experience.
